BLDI Environmental Engineers (BLDI) was established in 1991 for the purpose of helping businesses, municipalities, legal counsel, and financial institutions identify, prevent, and mitigate potential environmental and safety risks. We have worked to meet that purpose since the company was established almost 20 years ago.
BLDI is an employee-owned business, headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Our professional staff has an average of over 15 years experience in the areas of environmental science, engineering, and geology. We conduct regular training to ensure our staff is up-to-date on the latest environmental, business and lending trends.
Our staff begins every project by working with you and your advisors to assess your environmental or safety needs. Often, we find that our clients have concerns and goals larger than the immediate environmental or safety issue. We also know that one environmental problem may have several potential solutions.
Our goal is to assist each client in solving their environmental problems in the simplest, quickest, and most cost-effective manner while maintaining the highest level of quality.
Qualifications
BLDI’s staff of engineers, geologists, and scientists have been focused on providing high quality, cost-effective, and timely environmental services in Michigan and throughout the Midwest since our founding in 1991.

At least one member of our management team is involved in all projects to assure your projects receive the proper level of resources and commitment in order to produce the highest quality standards.
