BLDI Environmental Engineers (BLDI) was established in 1991 for the purpose of helping businesses, municipalities, legal counsel, and financial institutions identify, prevent, and mitigate potential environmental and safety risks. We have worked to meet that purpose since the company was established over 15 years ago.

BLDI is an employee-owned business, headquartered in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Our nine professional staff members have an average of 12 years experience in the areas of environmental science, engineering, and geology.

Our staff begins every project by working with you and your advisors to assess your environmental or safety needs. Often, we find that our clients have concerns and goals larger than the immediate environmental or safety issue. We also know that one environmental problem may have several solutions.

Our goal is to assist each client in solving their environmental problems in the simplest, quickest, and most cost-effective manner while maintaining the highest level of quality.
