BLDI regularly conducted reviews of environmental reports and conditions for a lender. After finalization of the All Appropriate Inquiry (AAI) by USEPA in November 2006 the lender decided to update their decade old environmental policy.

BLDI conducted a needs and goals analysis to develop an environmental risk management system that weighed the lenders risk tolerance and loan portfolio.

As a follow up, BLDI developed and implemented a bank-wide training session on the policy, including case studies.
