Mr. Berlin founded the company in 1991 with a focus on providing honest opinions on environmental conditions. Mr. Berlin has a BS from Michigan State University in Civil Engineering, a MS from Montana State University in Civil Engineering, and a MBA from Grand Valley State University.

Mr. Berlin is a professional engineer in four states. Mr. Berlin has led project teams for projects in nine states and provinces. Mr. Berlin is a certified forensic engineer and has provided expert opinions for cases in six states.

Joseph J. Mark, RG, CPG, Principal

Mr. Mark has a BS from Grand Valley State University in Geology and completed graduate coursework at Western Michigan University in Geology. Mr. Mark is an AIPG certified professional geologist and a registered geologist in Missouri. Mr. Mark has completed projects in 7 states. Mr. Mark also has earned a Master in Management from Aquinas College.

Richard N. Spehar, PE, Principal

Mr. Spehar has a BS in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technology University. Mr. Spehar is a licensed professional engineer in Michigan. Mr. Spehar has project experience in nine states.

John M. Michalec, Business Development

Mr. Michalec has a BS in Industrial Engineering from Cal Poly-San Luis Obispo. Mr. Michalec has extensive experience in helping customers solve problems throughout many industries.
